As NFTs go mainstream among collectors, investors, and artists — people are looking for novel ways to show off their digital art and collectibles. Imagine spending millions on an NFT collection just to let it sit in a wallet where no one can see it. Egregious!
People need to share their NFT artwork. Otherwise, what's the point? NFTs are mainly about community, after all. But it's not just about flexing. There could be other reasons, such as getting more eyeballs, selling it for a higher price, or purely decorating your house with innovative digital artwork.
Traditionally, physical collections are pretty easy to display. But when it comes to NFTs, many people are left scratching their heads. This guide will show you the most common ways to display your NFTs in both physical and digital spaces.

Various Ways to Display Your NFTs

Unlike physical artwork, you cannot hang NFTs on a wall or put them on display in a room without a couple of extra steps. These digital assets exist on the blockchain, so the ways you display them are also different.
Here are a few of the ways you might display your carefully curated NFTs:

Digital NFT Frames

Digital frames are devices that display your favorite photos or videos in an attractive frame on an LCD screen. They can be made from either glass or metal and come in various styles and sizes. You can easily mount them onto any wall using adhesives or screws.
They are a great way to flaunt NFTs in video or GIF format. You can zoom in on specific areas of the image, and a few digital frames even let you add music and sound to your artwork. Many also include features such as stereo speakers, an anti-glare display, and auto-rotating.
Tokenframe is one of the more well-known NFT digital display frames. They provide an elegant way to display various types of NFTs in stunning 4k — an awesome option for dynamic NFTs with motion or sound. Other popular examples of digital frames are Infinite Objects and Meural Canvas.

Physical Prints of NFTs With QR Codes

The most convenient(and cost-effective) way to physically display NFTs is by printing them on regular paper, putting them in a frame of your choice, and attaching the QR code to the back of the frame. You can use any printer that prints on regular paper and print the artwork as you like. The only thing you need is a QR code generator software and a scanner. There are also several services that will professionally print out your art and frame it.
You can hang the artwork on your wall or wherever else you want to display it without worrying about any installation issues. After generating the QR code and adding it to your NFT, it will display the artwork on the screen whenever you scan the code through your phone or scanner.
This is great for physical libraries and auctions, as buyers can get all the information about the NFT just by scanning it.

Online NFT Art Gallery

Art is all about the stories you tell through it, and NFTs are no different. The NFT world has fostered a revolutionary community of artists seeking to capture the imaginations of individuals around the globe. Online art galleries have never made that more convenient.
For artists, online art galleries are popping up like mushrooms after summer rains. They are a great way to display your NFT collection while attracting a ton of eyeballs. There are framing and customizing options, along with many lighting and backgrounds. You can also add background music or sound effects that go along with your piece.
You can set up an online gallery on any platform that offers photo-sharing services like Instagram and Facebook, so users can come to visit and view your work. For instance, people can showcase their cryptographic artwork and produce their own shows in online galleries.
Some people even make a community around their NFTs and then use it to create exclusive communities. For example, you can create a collection of NFTs that allows your fans to interact with you repeatedly over a video call or on Discord.
Most of the time, keeping a gallery of your digital art online is much less expensive than putting it on display in your home. It also allows you to attract the attention of NFT enthusiasts across the globe, which in turn helps increase the value of the artwork you own.

Metaverse and Metaverse Galleries

Some say that web3 art needs to live in an environment true to its blockchain nature: the metaverse.
An NFT metaverse art gallery is an excellent way for people to experience and appreciate the beauty of NFTs. It also provides an opportunity for artists and collectors to connect with each other as well as with potential buyers.
You just have to sign up, and then you can arrange art exhibitions, bids, and other programs to showcase and advertise your NFT collection. Additionally, you can create and distribute unique passes and tickets for such events on social media.
For example, in Decentraland and Sandbox, people can buy digital land where they can organize NFT art exhibitions and invite others to them. But Sandbox and Decentraland can be a bit expensive, so you can use free options such as Oncyber to keep your costs low.
Although such collaborations are already happening on other social networks such as Facebook and Instagram, the fact that it's happening on a blockchain allows it to be more secure.

Laptops or Computers for Displaying NFTs

If you want to display your NFT artwork on a screen, you can do so with a computer monitor as well. It is one of the most common ways to display art; it is relatively cheap, easy to use, and has many different variations. For example, you can set up your monitor to show your art or a set of collections on a loop.
Another option is to use a projector or LCD TV to show off your NFT art collection in various formats, such as a slide show or full screen. This is a great way to show off your art and make it accessible to anyone who walks by, even if they don't have an NFT reader app installed on their mobile device.
A simple display is perfect for artists who want to show their work to others and use their NFTs as decoration pieces.

NFT Marketplaces

Enlisting your crypto wallet in NFT marketplaces is another profitable option to display your NFT collection online. To become a seller on an online NFT marketplace, you just need a blockchain wallet like MetaMask and an account on the platform.
Not only can you monetize your digital art this way, but you also make it accessible to a wider audience. This increases the chances of buyers finding and purchasing your NFTs from these platforms.
These platforms need that sellers provide Proof of Ownership (PO) of their work to sell it on their marketplace. For example, suppose you're looking to sell an original painting by Picasso or another famous artist. In that case, you may need to have a PO of the original artwork to be able to list it on an NFT marketplace.

Conclusion

NFTs are becoming increasingly popular as people value their potential in a similar light to traditional art. Their value is also dependent on how "show-off worthy" they are.
The different ways to showcase your NFTs include displaying them virtually or physically. Some people have simply started displaying their NFTs on websites or social media. Others have created digital galleries to showcase their collections. Marketplaces like OpenSea, Rarible, and Foundation help you showcase your NFTs to a wider audience. A few collectors have even turned to physical ways of dealing with their NFTs.
So if you're looking for a way to display your NFT collection like the best of 'em, don't be discouraged. There are plenty of options available. And because we are so early in NFT tech development, we can expect even more creative display options to emerge in the near future.
